Brass Faucet Manufacturing Process
AIM connects product design, mould development and manufacturing within one production system to improve feasibility and batch consistency.

Design & Mould Development
Concepts move through design review, structural engineering and in-house mould development. Drawings and prototypes help resolve production requirements before bulk manufacturing.

Gravity Casting
Gravity casting forms the brass body, with sand cores shaping its internal waterways. Control of body density and wall thickness prepares the casting for subsequent machining.

CNC Machining
Cartridge seats, threaded connections and sealing surfaces are machined to specified dimensions. Controlled processing helps parts fit correctly during assembly.

Polishing
Repeated polishing refines visible surfaces and edges before coating. Surface preparation helps create a smooth feel and an even appearance across the finished batch.

Electroplating & Finishing
Electroplating, electrophoretic coating and PVD are selected to suit the approved finish. Coating appearance and corrosion-test requirements are defined for the chosen model and market.

Assembly & Testing
Components are assembled with controlled valve torque, followed by leak, flow and functional checks. These checks assess the completed faucet before packing and shipment.
Surface Finishing and Quality Control for Consistent Bulk Orders
The quality plan is designed to reduce procurement risks such as finish blistering, color variation, leakage, uneven wall thickness and inconsistent repeat orders.
Surface Finishing Options

- Treatment processes
- Electroplating, electrophoretic coating and PVD, subject to the selected model and finish.
- Plating and corrosion control
- Specify plating thickness and corrosion-test requirements when selecting a finish. Discuss the inspection plan with AIM using your approved product specifications.
- Color approval
- Use physical control samples to approve color and appearance before production and for subsequent repeat orders.
Incoming Materials
Supplier checks, material inspection and ERP batch records support traceability for brass bodies and other components.
Production Checks
Inspect dimensions, wall thickness, casting, machined surfaces, cartridge torque and assembly consistency.
Leakage and Performance
Pressure, flow, leakage, strength and cartridge-durability checks are matched to the selected model and project requirements.
Batch and Finish Consistency
Approved finish samples, plating-thickness checks and pre-shipment inspection help maintain the approved appearance across models and repeat orders.
